Editorial Policy
Filmymod aims to publish entertainment news that is accurate, fair and clearly sourced. This page explains how we work.
Accuracy and sourcing
- We rely on official announcements, press releases, verified social media accounts of filmmakers and artists, and reputable news outlets.
- Where possible we name the source of a claim (for example, “according to the makers” or “as reported by…”).
- Release dates, cast details and box office figures are checked against more than one source whenever possible.
Rumours and unconfirmed reports
If a story is not officially confirmed, we say so clearly in the headline or the first lines. We do not present speculation as fact.
Sensitive news
For stories about deaths, accidents, legal cases or personal matters, we publish only after confirmation from reliable sources, and we treat the people involved with respect.
Reviews and opinion
Reviews and ratings reflect the opinion of the writer. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage. Any sponsored or promotional content will be clearly labelled.
Images and credits
We use official posters, stills and promotional material provided for media use, and credit the source where required.
Corrections
If we make a mistake, we correct it quickly. Significant corrections are noted at the top of the article together with an updated date. To report an error, email filmymod@gmail.com with the article link and what needs to change.
Independence
Our editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, studios and publicists.
